Welcome to MORIS2015!

We are very pleased to inform you that MORIS 2015 is going to be held in Penang, Malaysia on November 29 – December 2, 2015. This will be the 15th MORIS, and, following our good tradition, it has provided good opportunities for fruitful discussions on fundamental research in the area of magnetic, thermo-magnetic, and magneto-optical phenomena, incorporating recent trends extending towards magnonics, spin-photonics, spin-electronics, nano-fabrication technologies, and novel magneto-optical materials and structures. MORIS has attracted number of researchers and engineers from universities and industries worldwide.

MORIS (Magnetics and Optics Research International Symposium) has been organized on a 2-year basis by researchers and engineers who are interested in both fundamental science and new technologies for future magnetic and/or optical materials and devices. Since the 1st MORIS at Tokyo in 1991, the MORIS has been organized in many countries. The last MORIS was held in Omiya, Japan in 2013. We look forward to seeing all of you at Penang, Malaysia, from November 29 to December 2, 2015 !

MORIS 2015 General Chair: Prof. Mitsuteru INOUE (Toyohashi Univ. Tech., Japan)
Steering Committee Chair: Prof. Takayuki ISHIBASHI (Nagaoka Univ. Tech., Japan)
